Introduction:
TRIPASS YL 255 is a single component liquid Trivalent iridescent passivation for Alkaline
and Acid Zinc plating process. It is completely free from Hexavalent Chrome.
TRIPASS YL 255 provide a thick film passivate layer on both Alkaline and Chloride zinc
deposits.TRIPASS YL 255 film achieve excelle corrosion resistance.
TRIPASSYL 255 is easy to operate and suitable for both Rack and Barrel, Automatic and manual plating process.

TRIPASS YL 255 film can be further enhanced with the application of the post applied Sealer or Topcoats.Which improve functionalproperties such as Corrosion resistance and   Coefficient of Friction.

Corrosion Resistance:
Zinc 8 – 12 ยต

. During the corrosion resistance test, in order to fully harden the film, please leave it for at least 24 hours.
. Corrosion resistance according to ASTM B117. The actual performance is depending on the plated parts and operating conditions and may largely vary.

Renewal of the passivation bath solution: As per the experience the bath renewal should be after about 800 dm2 /Ltr. operation.

1. Zinc Plating (Alkaline / Chloride)
2. D M Water Rinse
3. Activation (0.5% - 1.5% HNO3)
4. D M Water Rinse
5. ISOPASS TY 755
6. D M Water Rinse
7. Hot D M Water Rinse
8. Air Dry Oven
9. Dry (70 - 80⁰C)
